MORE THAN CONQUERORS was named bestseller in the category of religion by Kyobo Bookstore and Youngpoong Bookstore and has been a steady seller since its release in October 2004. MORE THAN CONQUERORS (comic edition) now offers young readers a chance to read about Reverend Ki-chol Chu's bold resistance to forced Shinto worship during Japanese colonial power—a period of greatest hardship and suffering in Korean church history. Illustrated and rewritten to meet children at eye level, this book delivers the true meaning of the Easter faith.
ELDER KWANG-JO CHU of Youngnak Presbyterian Church was born in Masan in 1932 as the youngest of the late Reverend Ki-chol Chu's four sons. Having witnessed the martyrdom of his father, he struggled with a severe speech impediment. After Liberation in 1945, he was healed and even able to attend school. Following his graduation from Seoul High School, he entered the military during the Korean War and was discharged after five years of service. He went on to study at the College of Business and Economics at Yonsei University and worked at many companies. Even after retirement, he continues to serve in the broadcasting ministry with the Far East Broadcasting Company and dedicates his time to witnessing his father's martyrdom at the memorial service and seminar held annually at the Ki-chol Chu Memorial Foundation.

HA-LIM JANG originally majored in Oriental Painting but has worked on several comic books and animations—some of which have been selected children's bestsellers. Jang has received wide recognition for his character creations, caricatures, and flash animations. He currently instructs amateur illustrators.
