How have you all been?

Cambodia is suffering from the hottest climate in 50 years. People are finding it difficult to work or meet outside of their homes. People are yearning for rain to pour down from the skies and beat the sweltering heat. We hope that the work of the Korean Women's Christian Temperance Union can be like rain to the Cambodian people and refresh their spirits. On April 26th, we had a lecture at the Yukunto School of Cambodia. We were extremely worried about the lecture because the assembly hall where the lecture was held was very small and crowded. 

Despite the tough circumstances, the students listened very hard to the lecture. They are the future of this country. Through them, Cambodia will slowly transform. Around 140 students attended the conference. Professor Gang-yong Yang gave the lecture, and was interpreted by Marakara. This lecture also contained information about the harms of drug abuse - the information was prepared for by the wife of the WHO warden. After the lecture, the temperance council had their regular meeting. The meeting was led by missionary Kyoung-ran Shin and the university students she mentors. After the meeting, we discussed with the students how God had helped them in their lives and shared testimonies together.
