여러분의 어머니가 돌아가셨다는 매우 슬픈 소식을 들었습니다.
저는 큰 동정의 마음으로 당신과 당신 가족들을 생각하고 있습니다.
그리고 어머니, 아버지가 영원한 삶을 누리며 하나님 옆에서 기다리고 계시다가
여러분과 꼭 만날 수 있다는 소망으로 위로를 전합니다.

<아름다운 추억>을 읽었을 때,
여귀옥 권사님의 인격과 그녀의 삶의 이야기를 아는 자부심과 기쁨을 가질 수 있음에 대해 감사하고 있습니다. 그녀의 미소와 친절한 얼굴을 제 눈으로 보았습니다.
세계절제회는 늘 매우 친절하고 공손한 매너와 어떻게 여러분이 어머니를 돌보아왔는지에 대해 칭찬해왔습니다.
어머니와 같은 사람들은 우리에게 좋은 본보기가 되고 용기를 줍니다.
우리가 서울에 있는 동안, 그녀가 있는 병원에서도 만날 수 없는 것이 매우 슬펐습니다.
만약 여러분이 저에게 그녀의 임종과 장례에 대한 소식을 전해주면 감사하겠습니다.

오늘날 저는 에스토니아 전 회장 Lennart Mari의 장례를 세 시간 동안 지켜보았습니다.
그는 모든 사람들이 매우 사랑하는 좋은 사람이었어요.

Sara Ward와 Margaret Ostenstad는 오월 초에 핀란드에 방문하여 나와 함께
에스토니아에서 여행하게 될 것입니다.
우리는 에스토니아에 6월 5일까지 있을 예정이니 이번 여행을 위해 기도 부탁드립니다.

Dear sisters Jung Joo and Young Joo Kim

I have got from Margaret Ostenstad e-mail, in which was very sorrowful news, that your dear mother has died.
I think you and your families with all my sympathy and will console you with hope of eternal life and meeting again. I believe that your mother as also your father are by God and wait there for you, their good children.

I´m grateful, that I had pleasure and honour to know your mother personality and also her life´s history, when I red her book Beautiful memories. I see in my eyes her smiling and friendly face. We WWCTU-women admired always that very fine and polite manner, how you took care for her. Such persons as she was we need as example and encouragement. I´m so sad, that I could not meet with her, when we were in Seoul and she was in hospital. I am grateful, if you will write me something about her last days and funeral.

Today I have three hours looked at the funeral of Lennart Meri, the former president of Estonia. He was good man, whole people loved him very much. He was the present of God to Estonia.

Sarah Ward and Margaret Ostenstad will become to Finland in the begin of May and they will travel also to Estonia with me. We should be in Estonia 4.-6.5. Please. remember us and our trip in prayers.

I have just had influence (not bird-), therefore I have not written earlier. Now I´m okay, only my foots begin to be rather powerless. But sd it is, when we are old!
